Hello 2014

I did a lot of emotional purging over the last year or more, plus shitty internet meant I had not much of a connection to anybody besides people on Facebook.
Feels like a fresh start actually.
The local advertising magically picked up 2 clients for me and in a few months time I'll have more time to schedule in more people. I definitely enjoy teaching art and I would love to eventually be able to live off it. In the meantime it's supplying me with guilt-free art equipment and books. Huzzuh!
The main reason why I don't have extra time (apart from full-time DayJob) is because it's getting to the pointy end of wedding organisation for biocatalyst and I.
Then there's a week-long course and my birthday in April, honeymoon in Germany for 2 months in the middle of the year, and building of our house depending on when dad decides to come home. Which could be end of this year or next year. So while having a fully functional home studio is still dreams away, I have a living room (the entrance), a dining room (actual work space) and a kitchen (in line of vision) I'm accountable for keeping tidy at least once a week so it functions enough to host one person. And I finally finally converted my old bedroom into a fully-labeled storage space/office.
Even though I'm not currently motivated to finish any works (there's a couple on the line), the kid's questions keeps me accountable to keep my skills up and I get to doodle while they work on their own stuff... which is pretty much like having a mini-meet every week at my own convenience. Go me.
